Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Pear in Nouméa reaches the shelf in 100 ml bottle formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run pear the same way in Nouméa: same 100 ml bottle, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: pear in Nouméa works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear 100 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.67 per 10 ml.
How we tested pear in a 100 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Nouméa survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
