Caramel mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Caramel in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Caramel in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: caramel in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a caramel mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
A caramel mesh tank from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.88 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested caramel in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.88 per 10 ml.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
