Lime mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Lime in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Lime is allowed to say
Lime prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.37 per 10 ml.
A lime mesh tank from the flat-rate options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.37 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: lime in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested lime in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where lime goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lime tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
