Vanilla pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Vanilla in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a pen device for vanilla
Vanilla pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A vanilla pen device from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.56 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: vanilla in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla pen device really costs in Nouméa
Vanilla sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested vanilla in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
