Where buyers go wrong with salted in New Caledonia
Salted in Nouméa reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
A salted starter kit from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.74 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Salted in Nouméa reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested salted in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where salted goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
