Frozen RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Frozen in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Frozen is allowed to say
Frozen RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen RDA really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on frozen: 20 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested frozen in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
How long does frozen in a RDA last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.61 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF68 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
