Fig nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Fig in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 3 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Fig nicotine salt bottle here
The honest read on fig: 20 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Fig prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.59 per 10 ml.
The short version: fig in Nouméa works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig nicotine salt bottle really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested fig in a nicotine salt bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where fig goes wrong
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should fig start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
How long does fig in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
