Vanilla prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Vanilla in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 5 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
We run vanilla the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
A vanilla prefilled pod from the pre-order options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.25 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested vanilla in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.25 per 10 ml.
