Pear cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 7 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the pear habit
Pear in Nouméa reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.88 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested pear in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where pear goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.88 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Nouméa survives.
