Tropical starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Tropical in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 4 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
If you are looking at tropical in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical starter kit really costs in Nouméa
A tropical starter kit from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.82 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested tropical in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
How long does tropical in a starter kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
