Tropical pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Tropical in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Tropical in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.

The short version: tropical in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical pen device really costs in Nouméa
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested tropical in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.65 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
How long does tropical in a pen device last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
