Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
If you are looking at caramel in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the sub-ohm kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run caramel the same way in Nouméa: same sub-ohm kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
A caramel sub-ohm kit from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.11 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested caramel in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.11 per 10 ml.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should caramel start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
