Tobacco 60 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Tobacco in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 9 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a 60 ml bottle for tobacco
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
A tobacco 60 ml bottle from the pre-order options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.98 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: tobacco in Nouméa works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tobacco 60 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at tobacco in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 60 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested tobacco in a 60 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.98 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is tobacco legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
