Tobacco 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Tobacco in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a 30 ml shortfill for tobacco
Tobacco in Nouméa reaches the shelf in 30 ml shortfill formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.0 per 10 ml.
The short version: tobacco in Nouméa works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tobacco 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
A tobacco 30 ml shortfill from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.0 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested tobacco in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Mixing tobacco with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in Nouméa survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
