Melon mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Melon in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the melon habit
A melon mesh tank from the discounted options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.22 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Melon mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: melon in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on melon: 14 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested melon in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where melon goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Treating the advertised XPF42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.22 per 10 ml.
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
