Sweet squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Sweet in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Sweet is allowed to say
Sweet sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.56 per 10 ml.
The short version: sweet in Nouméa works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sweet squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Sweet squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sweet in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.56 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF53 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sweet the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.56 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
