Berry squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Berry in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Berry squonk mod here
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Berry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.55 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a berry squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Berry in Nouméa reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested berry in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where berry goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.55 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why berry tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Is berry legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
How long does berry in a squonk mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does berry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the berry blend itself harsh.
