Spiced mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Spiced in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a mesh tank for spiced
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.53 per 10 ml.
Spiced mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: spiced in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested spiced in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should spiced start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On spiced the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.53 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
