Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
If you are looking at spiced in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 60 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you are looking at spiced in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 60 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the 60 ml bottle you buy decides how long spiced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a spiced 60 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.25 per 10 ml.
How we tested spiced in a 60 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a spiced bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Mixing spiced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.25 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
How long does spiced in a 60 ml bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is spiced legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
