Sour sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Sour in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 5 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.42 per 10 ml.
Sour in Nouméa reaches the shelf in sub-ohm kit formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
We run sour the same way in Nouméa: same sub-ohm kit, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sour in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sour goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
