Salted refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Salted in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the salted habit
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.77 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted refill pack really costs in Nouméa
A salted refill pack from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.77 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested salted in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where salted goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.77 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Packaging for salted in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does salted in a refill pack last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
