How we tested Melon prefilled pod here
Melon in Nouméa reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run melon the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: melon in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
We run melon the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested melon in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where melon goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.97 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On melon the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.97 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.97 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF60 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does melon in a prefilled pod last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
