Salted mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Salted in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What salted costs in Nouméa
A salted mesh tank from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.37 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: salted in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested salted in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where salted goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.37 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Nouméa survives.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
