Cherry cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Cherry in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 7 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.71 per 10 ml.
The honest read on cherry: 13 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long cherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cherry cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at cherry in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested cherry in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a cherry bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cherry tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.71 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How long does cherry in a cartomizer last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
Is cherry legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
