Plum zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Plum in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 3 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plum habit
Plum in a zero-nicotine bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you are looking at plum in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the zero-nicotine bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at plum in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the zero-nicotine bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plum in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for zero-nicotine bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plum goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a zero-nicotine bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Treating the advertised XPF41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.54 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.

Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
