Plum prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Plum in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 9 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.19 per 10 ml.
Plum prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: plum in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested plum in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plum goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for plum in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.19 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How long does plum in a prefilled pod last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
