Plum vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with plum in New Caledonia
Plum in Nouméa reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run plum the same way in Nouméa: same vape pen, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: plum in Nouméa works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum vape pen really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested plum in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plum goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.71 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
How long does plum in a vape pen last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
