Plum prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Plum in Nouméa: 15 units tested over 9 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.98 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on plum: 15 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plum goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
