Plum e-liquid bundle IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Plum in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 5 weeks, e-liquid bundle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plum habit
A plum e-liquid bundle from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.03 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a e-liquid bundle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: plum in Nouméa works if the e-liquid bundle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum e-liquid bundle really costs in Nouméa
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.03 per 10 ml.
How we tested plum in a e-liquid bundle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the e-liquid bundle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for e-liquid bundle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where plum goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest e-liquid bundle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.03 per 10 ml.

On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.03 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.

Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.03 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
