Dessert squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Dessert in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a squonk mod for dessert
Dessert sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The honest read on dessert: 22 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at dessert in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested dessert in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why dessert tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
How long does dessert in a squonk mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.32 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF61 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
