Plain sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Plain in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 5 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Plain is allowed to say
Plain in Nouméa reaches the shelf in sub-ohm kit formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Plain in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: plain in Nouméa works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Plain in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plain in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plain goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
