Plain RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Plain in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a RDA for plain
Plain in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run plain the same way in Nouméa: same RDA, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain RDA really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested plain in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plain goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.25 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Nouméa survives.
