Pear squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
Pear in Nouméa reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Pear in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested pear in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where pear goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
