Pear RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a RDA for pear
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.55 per 10 ml.
The short version: pear in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear RDA really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested pear in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.55 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.55 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF43 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.

Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.55 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does pear in a RDA last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
