Pear cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a cartomizer for pear
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: pear in Nouméa works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Pear in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested pear in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where pear goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.91 per 10 ml.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.91 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
