Nutty box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Nutty in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A nutty box mod from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.86 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Nutty prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.86 per 10 ml.
The short version: nutty in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a nutty box mod really costs in Nouméa
Nutty sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested nutty in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every nutty bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Mixing nutty with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

How long does nutty in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
