Passionfruit in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What passionfruit costs in Nouméa
Passionfruit prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.17 per 10 ml.
Passionfruit in Nouméa reaches the shelf in zero-nicotine bottle formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: passionfruit in Nouméa works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a passionfruit zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested passionfruit in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.17 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why passionfruit tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

How much does a zero-nicotine bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.17 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF45 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On passionfruit the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.17 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
