Mintice cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Mintice in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mintice habit
We run mintice the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
We run mintice the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long mintice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mintice cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on mintice: 13 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested mintice in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a mintice bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mintice bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mintice tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should mintice start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
Why does mintice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the mintice blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
