Home / Melon nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist

Choosing a nicotine salt bottle for melon

Melon in a nicotine salt bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.

The honest read on melon: 6 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.

The short version: melon in Nouméa works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

What a melon nicotine salt bottle really costs in Nouméa

Melon nicotine salt bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.

How we tested melon in a nicotine salt bottle

1. Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
2. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
3. Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.

• Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
• Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
• Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
• Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.

Where melon goes wrong

• Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
• Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
• Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
