Fig starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Fig in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Fig is allowed to say
Fig starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Fig in Nouméa reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long fig tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a fig starter kit really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on fig: 23 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested fig in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where fig goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for fig in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.39 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF32 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should fig start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
