Melon 100 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Melon in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Melon is allowed to say
We run melon the same way in Nouméa: same 100 ml bottle, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A melon 100 ml bottle from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.43 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: melon in Nouméa works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon 100 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.43 per 10 ml.
How we tested melon in a 100 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where melon goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for melon in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
