Mango box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Mango in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
We run mango the same way in Nouméa: same box mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A mango box mod from the pre-order options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.32 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long mango tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mango box mod really costs in Nouméa
Mango in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested mango in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a mango bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mango bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where mango goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF44 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.32 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
