Sour pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Sour in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Sour is allowed to say
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Sour pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Sour in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested sour in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where sour goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Nouméa survives.
