Lime prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Lime in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 9 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the lime habit
The honest read on lime: 22 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested lime in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where lime goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lime tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in Nouméa survives.

Frequently asked questions
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.29 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF64 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
