Lime box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Lime in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with lime in New Caledonia
Lime in Nouméa reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Lime box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lime box mod really costs in Nouméa

How we tested lime in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where lime goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
