Graphite cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Graphite in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 2 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with graphite in New Caledonia
A graphite cartomizer from the discounted options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.78 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.78 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a graphite cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
We run graphite the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested graphite in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long graphite in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
