Lime 10 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Lime in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 3 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a 10 ml bottle for lime
Lime prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.89 per 10 ml.
Lime sounds like one product. It is not: a 10 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, 10 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a lime 10 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at lime in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 10 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested lime in a 10 ml bottle
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where lime goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does lime in a 10 ml bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 10 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
How much does a 10 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.89 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF35 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
