Licorice pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Licorice in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good pod kit from a repack
If you are looking at licorice in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
A licorice pod kit from the compared options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.59 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.59 per 10 ml.
How we tested licorice in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why licorice tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
