Licorice pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Licorice in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What licorice costs in Nouméa
A licorice pen device from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.57 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at licorice in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: licorice in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice pen device really costs in Nouméa
Licorice sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested licorice in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why licorice tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.

Not automatically. On licorice the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.57 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
