Iced pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Iced in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
The honest read on iced: 7 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.16 per 10 ml.
How we tested iced in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where iced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.16 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.16 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF41 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does iced in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
